Ireland was baptized September 1oth. It was also a special day because it was also Grandparent's Day. How cool that our kids got to spend it with all their grandparents?!?!
As we arrived at church, it was exciting to see our family and Ireland's godparents there for her, to show support, love and offer prayers for our little girl.
Cohan was excited to be part of his sister's special day...
I loved looking back at the pictures of everybody's faces while Ireland was being baptized. The holy water drenched her face. She went from a sleeping beauty to a crying baby quickly.

Thank you Uncle Matt and Aunt Boo Boo (Betsy) for being Ireland's godparents. You have been such a huge part of our kids' lives already. Betsy, you are my best friend and an amazing aunt to our babies. There isn't a day that goes by where we don't talk and solve the world's problems together. Matt, thanks for always bringing light to every situation. One thing we know, is that our kids know they are loved by you both. Don't think we don't notice extra attention, hugs, snuggles and loves you give our kids. We look forward to raising our babies together. You are amazing parents and Sofia is lucky to have you both as parents.
My mom has been the Catholic godparent for both our children. They are lucky they have a GramMo always willing to come visit, support them, babysit and snuggle them whenever she can.
After church, our family came back to our house.
It was another perfect day to sit outside and enjoy time together.
Thanks to everyone that came and made Ireland's day special. She got beautiful cards, gifts and, more importantly, time with her family. Thanks for making her special day blessed!
